How verification works.
When you register a new watch, you can submit it for verification. A verified watch carries more weight at resale — buyers can see the original receipt and warranty card were checked against the watch at the time of registration.
Start your verification
Begin from your watch’s detail page. We’ll give you a specific time to set your watch to — this confirms the watch is physically in your possession.
Take one photo
With your watch set to the required time, take a single photo showing the watch, your sales receipt, and the warranty card together. Make sure the serial numbers are visible — the paperwork must match the watch you’re registering.

We review it
The Atlas Registry team checks your submission manually — comparing the receipt, warranty card, and watch to confirm everything lines up.
You get a Verified mark
If everything checks out, your watch receives an Atlas Registry Verified mark. If we can’t confirm the match, we’ll decline the submission and tell you why.
What the Verified mark means
The mark stays attached to the watch’s record — even when it changes hands. Transfer a watch (note we don’t handle the actual sale) through The Atlas Registry and buyers know the original receipt and warranty card were verified against the watch. We never share the receipt image itself; buyers simply see that verification was completed.
